Happy Halloween everyone!

Last Wednesday was the Humane Society of Sarasota County's Annual Costume Contest out at The Phillippi Creek Farmers Market here in Sarasota Florida. This year's celebration did not disappoint. The HSSC brought out 'Big Mac' with some adorable dogs and cats up for adoption. There were raffles and games and all around good fun for all.

If you have not made it down to Phillipe Creek for the Farmers Market, it is held every Wednesday morning. There are food trucks, live music, and of course, produce stands from local farms in the area. Here are a few of the little ghosts and goblins I met.

Believe it or not, the Holiday Season will soon be here and 2016 will be drawing to a close. The weather is beginning to cool down here in Florida, so now is the perfect time to make plans for capturing those special moments with your family’s furry members. DogStreet is currently booking Holiday Mini Sessions, now through November 19th.

Holiday Sessions are a condensed "mini" version of my Signature Location Session which includes printable, digital files. Mini sessions are not just for pets, but families as well. In fact, holiday sessions can include up to four family members (extra members are welcome for an added fee). We pick a convenient location where your pet(s) will be most comfortable and the session lasts for up to 45 minutes, allowing time for posed shots and some fun shots as well.

You can use your mini session photos in a variety of ways.

• Use them for your holiday cards. Everyone loves receiving a personalized a holiday card rather than a generic store-bought card. I can even design your holiday card with photos from your mini session. Ask me for more details.

• Give them as gifts to show your family and friends how much they are loved. If you need help deciding on framing, just ask, I will be happy to help.

• Keep them for yourself. A mini photography session each year is a great way of documenting your family and fur-kids too.

Saturday, March 5, 2016, was the Humane Society of Manatee County's annual Paws In Motion Walk-A-Thon. This year the event was moved from Bradenton's Riverwalk accross the bridge to Palmetto's Sutton Park. This is always such a fun event, raising much needed funds for the community's shelter pets. Below are some sweet little furballs I met before, during, and after the walk.
