Last year I photographed Brynna along with her three canine companions on a very hot summer morning.  We had a great time together and she was very tolerant of both the heat and my camera. This happy girl would have much rather stayed inside in the cool and comfy air. She was a sweetie though and a real trouper. 

Unfortunately, Brynna passed away last week. She was loved very much and will be missed. Here are some of my favorites of her from that day. 

I met Dash a couple of months ago on a beautiful spring morning at Ft. Desoto Beach here in Florida.  He had been diagnosed with cancer and just started undergoing treatment when we had our session.  We had a great time with his mom, Courtney and his canine companion, Feebo.  Although Dash was not feeling his best, his spunky personality still shined through. Unfortunately, Dash lost his battle to cancer just a few short weeks after our photo session. I am so happy I was able to meet him and capture a bit of beauty and spirit.  Here are a few of my favorites from that day. 

The First Annual Jingle Paws Jubilee was held on Sunday, December 4th out at Ace Pet Resort in Sarasota, Florida.  This festive holiday event was presented by Sarasota Pet Magazine, SarasotaDog.com, and Ace Pet Resort.

What a fantastic day.  The weather was almost perfect, a bit windy in the morning, but it seemed to dissipate by the end of the afternoon.  So many folks came out with their furry families to join in on the festivities.  There were carolers to get everyone into the holiday spirit.  As well as a holiday costume contest, a super awesome face painter, 50/50 raffles, and agility demonstrations by OceanWolf Agility.

I met so many new friends and saw a lot of familiar faces too.  Thank you all so much for stopping by and saying Hello.  I was especially excited to have met four Catahoula mixes.  My dog, Nyla, is a Catahoula, and we rarely come in contact with other ones, not to mention four in one day, at the same event.  It was great.  The entire day was full of fun and cheer, a perfect way to kick off the holiday season.  Thank You Sarasota Pet, SarasotaDog, and Ace for hosting such a fabulous event.  I hope it will be an annual tradition.

A Couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Player and the three other members of his pack.   Sadly, last week, Player unexpectedly passed away.   I am grateful to have met him and was able to capture his sweet and kind being.  Here are a few of my many favorites of him.  I will always remember that adorable happy face.  Thank you Player and may you rest in peace.
