Saturday, March 4, 2017, was the Humane Society of Manatee County's annual Paws In Motion Walk-A-Thon. The event was held out at Sutton Park in Palmetto, Florida. This is always such a fun event, raising much-needed funds for the community's shelter pets.
I had a booth this year and met a lot of new faces, and saw many old friends as well. It was super windy, so I was not able to venture too far from my area. I was able to make it over to the start of the walk, but had to quickly get back before the wind blew my tent away. All in all, it was a great day for walking with the pups.
Thank you all for stopping by and saying hello and congratulations to the HSMC for another successful event. Already looking forward to next year!
If you missed last years images or would like to take a look back, here is the link to last year's walk.

Happy Halloween everyone!
Last Wednesday was the Humane Society of Sarasota County's Annual Costume Contest out at The Phillippi Creek Farmers Market here in Sarasota Florida. This year's celebration did not disappoint. The HSSC brought out 'Big Mac' with some adorable dogs and cats up for adoption. There were raffles and games and all around good fun for all.
If you have not made it down to Phillipe Creek for the Farmers Market, it is held every Wednesday morning. There are food trucks, live music, and of course, produce stands from local farms in the area. Here are a few of the little ghosts and goblins I met.
Now that Halloween is here, you know what is right around the corner...the Holidays.
DogStreet is currently booking for Holiday Mini Sessions. There are still a few appointments available. You can read all about Mini Sessions HERE.
Have a Happy and Safe Halloween. Trick or Treat!
Saturday, March 5, 2016, was the Humane Society of Manatee County's annual Paws In Motion Walk-A-Thon. This year the event was moved from Bradenton's Riverwalk accross the bridge to Palmetto's Sutton Park. This is always such a fun event, raising much needed funds for the community's shelter pets. Below are some sweet little furballs I met before, during, and after the walk.

This Morning I attended not one, but two Halloween Pet Events. The first was at Five Points Park in downtown Sarasota. The event was hosted by Wet Noses and The Downtown Merchants Association. They had a parade and costume contest with all proceeds going to Royal Rescue.
After the parade, I headed down the street to The Humane Society of Sarasota County's walk and costume contest at J.D. Hamel Park. This year they held a Ringling Bridge walk in addition to their annual costume contest.
It's always great to get out to events around town, especially when it involves dogs in costumes. I met many new faces and ran into quite a few that I have known for years. I even bumped into a few of my past clients, some with new furry additions to their families.
With Halloween in the bag, it's time to move on to the Holiday Season!!! DogStreet is currently booking Holiday Mini Sessions. You can find more information HERE.

With the holiday season fast approaching, now is the perfect time to make plans for capturing those special moments with your family’s furry members. We are currently booking Holiday Sessions for two THREE weekends only: November 6-8th and November 14-16th. Due to popular demand, I have added two additional dates November 20 and 21st.
Each day is a different location in and around the Sarasota area. All photography sessions are done in 30-minute increments, but the number of slots are limited and booked out on a first-come, first-serve basis. You will receive a condensed version of our full portrait sessions at a fraction of the cost.
Mini sessions are not just for pets, but families too. In fact, our sessions can include up to 4 subjects and for any additional subject added, we charge an extra $25. We will do some posed shots and fun shots as well. We keep the options simple.
You can use your mini session photos in a variety of ways.
• Use them as holiday cards. Everyone loves receiving a personalized holiday card rather than a generic store-bought card. We can even design your holiday card with photos from your mini session. Ask us for more details.
• Give them as gifts. Give them as gifts to show them this holiday season how much they are loved. If you need help deciding on framing, just ask us and we will be happy to help.
• Keep them for yourself. A mini photography session every holiday is a great way of documenting your family and fur-kids too.
